I offer my clients a space to explore feelings using a creative and holistic approach. I use art, mindfulness, and meditation to help clients gain a deeper awareness into themselves and to facilitate a process of growth to help individuals become better versions of themselves. I work together with each client to set goals and set each individual up for success. As art can be sometimes intimidating I remind my clients that the art is there as their guide to help them go deeper and connect to themselves. There is no art experience needed and never judgment in the artwork.
Art therapy provides deeper experiences than traditional therapy, as the unconscious is addressed through non-verbal expression. The interplay between creative expression and conversation provides for a deepening of self awareness.
In addition, being certified in kids yoga I integrate mindfulness and meditation into my practice offering clients tools to help self regulate, calm, and focus. My goal is to provide, for youths and adults, a space where they can heal, be themselves, and grow.
